This week is "Teachers Appreciation Week," and we want to take this opportunity to thank the teachers for their dedication to the education of our children. We’d like to recognize the ways teachers went above and beyond during a year that was riddled with change and uncertainty.

A Word from Wayne

It’s a great day to be a Dillo! We are so blessed to be in San Saba ISD. Our kids have been 100% face to face since November. Our parents and students did a great job complying with all the TEA guidelines so that we could keep our kids in school.

San Saba Tennis Report

It has been a busy week for the Dillo Tennis Teams this week. The Middle School played in the Mason Middle School Invitational Friday and Saturday, April 23-24.

San Saba Track and Field impresses at Regionals

The San Saba High School girls and boys varsity track and field teams competed very well on April 23-24 during the 2A Region IV Championships held at Javelina Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M University-Kingsville.

Jordan Cattle Auction

Receipts totaled 4,531 head. The buyer activity was good on an overall lower market. The orders for cattle going to grass this spring and summer mostly ended last week.

Texas Girls Coaches Association chooses cheer All-Stars

TGCA selects a maximum of 20 All-Stars, from conferences 1-4a and 5-6a in cheer. These athletes are selected by the TGCA Spirit Advisory Committee, which is composed of member cheer coaches of the association. Selections are made from nominations submitted by member coaches.

San Saba Tennis Report

Middle School The San Saba Middle School Tennis Team opened their season by traveling to Mason to play in the Mason Team Tournament. Teams playing in the tournament were San Saba, Mason, Wall, Fredericksburg, Ingram, San Angelo Lee, San Angelo Glenn, and San Angelo Lincoln.
