At the May City Council meeting, Mayor Ken Jordan read the signed Proclamation recognizing May 11th - 17th as National Police Week. He then presented it to representatives of the San Saba Police Department.

We had strong thunderstorms that went through town on Thursday, May 22nd. But then, just six days later – before everything could be cleaned up and cleared away, another thunderstorm came through.Some information and photos from that storm were shared in our May 30th digital newsletter.
LCRA representatives present a $16,210 grant to the City of Richland Springs for dining space and restrooms at a community food-truck park planned for downtown. The grant is part of LCRA’s Community Development Partnership Program. Richland Springs Food Truck Park on the horizon thanks to LCRA grant

The City of Richland Springs soon will begin work to construct an outdoor dining area and new public restrooms in its downtown district, thanks to a $16,210 grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority.

Congratulations to all our amazing graduates. The class of 2025 celebrated their achievements in the newly opened Mann Event Center. This is a perfect venue for many events, but especially beautiful for this graduation. Tables lined the walls with the memorabilia of each graduate.
