Yesterday, April 2nd, I visited a church in Newark, Ohio, 40 minutes from where I live in Zanesville. The Pastor made a trip to Mexico with my husband Larry, and his wife and I worked for Shurtz Management in Granville.

Thankfully April 1st was not a school day, so teachers around the country did not have to be tricked numerous times. Most of my little ones had cute tricks, but after the 10th “fool” it grew a little old. The kids had fun though, so I guess that’s what counts.

Cedar: A Bad Thing or Just Too Much of a Good Thing? Let’s get a few myths out of the way first. To begin with, cedar is not really a cedar, but a juniper. The one that grows around here is Ashe juniper (Juniperus ashei), or blueberry juniper.

I have a question for you: How busy are you? Lately, I have found myself busier than ever. I have tasks to accomplish, places to be, meetings to attend, and family to tend to; so, where does my relationship with God fit in? Should I even be asking it to ‘fit in’? Should it not be a priority?
