San Saba Garden Club celebrates nature: From Gourds to Galaxies

Members of the San Saba Garden Club (SSGC) used the often chilly and drear months of February and March to celebrate the bounties of nature, always mindful that every season plays a vital role in producing the new growth and beautiful colors we look forward to each spring.

SS Lodge to meet Saturday

On Saturday, April 1st, San Saba Masonic Lodge will hold its regular stated meeting. A meal of chicken pot pie will be provided by Ian Merriman at 6: 30 p. m. Members are asked to bring complimentary covered side dish, bread, salad, or dessert.

Welcome to spring, everyone. Fierce storms and fronts are part of the spring season. We have dodged several violent storms, unlike our fellow citizens in Mississippi and Tennessee. Our prayers go out to the hurting families there. We have not received a good spring rain.

SS County unites for Aggie Muster 2023

Howdy. The San Saba County Texas A&M Club would like to announce the upcoming traditional Aggie Muster, for Aggies and friends of Aggies, on Friday, April 21, 2023. The gathering will be at the San Saba River RV Park Clubhouse from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Distinguished Dillo
