SSISD Turkey of the Year Winners

The winners of the National Honor Society Food Drive both received a frozen turkey and were crowned “Turkey of the Year.” The food drive provided around 3,000 pounds of food for local food banks (First Baptist Church and Hill Country Bible Church).
To be eligible for the drawing, students had to have less than three absences (including tardies). SSHS Principal, along with Sterling Proffitt, drew these three students’ names. They each received a $25 Amazon gift card. Congrats to Zylie Hunt, Sheridan Haynes, and Jancsi Cuevas!

San Saba High School Art students are participating in an art contest hosted by the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo. The art contest is for students, ages five to 18, who live in Texas. The artwork has to be original and must depict artwork that represents Texas or western culture.
