Lady Dillos upset Boerne Geneva

On Friday night in Armadillo Arena, the Lady Dillos played great team defense and hit clutch free throws down the stretch to upset TAPPS 4A second-ranked Boerne Geneva, 41-36.

SSHS Rotary Student of the Month

Rotary DECEMBER Student-of-the-Month was awarded to Chris Sealy. Each month, a different senior student is awarded. Awards are based on leadership, character, teacher nominations, and a personal essay written by the student. Recipients are presented to the student body as well as the school board.

News From Cherokee ISD

Despite being a short week due to the Thanksgiving holiday, it was still jam-packed with excitement here at Cherokee ISD. The week started out with the junior high basketball teams taking on Zephyr on Monday.

Lady Dillo Basketball Players of the Week

Varsity Player of the Week: This week, we recognize 5’5 senior guard Olivia Lusty as the Varsity Player of the week. She has participated in tennis, track, cross country and basketball as well as cheer and UIL academics.

News From Cherokee ISD

Last week our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders traveled to Johnson City for a field trip to the Science Mill. While there, they explored the museum which features many hands on activities. Students experimented with sand, wind, topography, brain waves, sound waves, magnets, and much more.
