Lady Dillos Softball recognized in District 28-2A Awards

Under head coach Nicole Walts, the San Saba High School varsity softball team recently had multiple members of the 2022 squad honored for the District 28-2A awards.

MOE 7th/8th (6-0) picked up their second tournament championship in a row by winning the 8th Grade Girls Division of the 2022 “Magic Not on Mother’s Day Shootout” on Saturday, April 7, at Eastview High School in Georgetown, Texas.

Dillos Baseball season ends in hard-fought bi-district series

The San Saba High School varsity baseball team had its solid 2022 season come to a close this past weekend as the Dillos fell in their bi-district series to Sabinal High School in three games at neutral site Fredericksburg High School.

SSHS art students win GOLD at VASE contest

Texas High School Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) celebrated its 25th Anniversary in 2019. The first VASE event was held in 1994 with just over 400 student entries; after 25 years, High School VASE entries now number around 35,000.

News From Cherokee ISD

Our tracksters made a big showing at regionals with many of our athletes competing. In each event, there were 16 competitors from various schools around the state. First through 6th earns points for their school, and the top two finishers qualify for the state track meet.

Bath & Body

Pecan Street Bath and Body began soaping in 2020. Bill and Regina Baker began to hear the benefits of goat’s milk for the skin and started to do a lot of research. Regina has an autoimmune issue which caused her to have very dry skin.

San Saba Tennis Report

The San Saba Middle School Invitational Tennis Tournament was held on Saturday, April 30. Teams playing in the tournament were Brownwood, Llano, Copperas Cove Middle School, Copperas Cove Lee Middle School, San Saba, Richland Springs, Lohn, and Lometa.
