Winners of our 2nd Annual Dove Project Golf Tournament

Part of the 2nd place team holding their trophies. Our Most Valuable Player Trophy went to Dennis Stewart of San Saba, Tx. The 2nd Place Team consisted of John Hill, Sean Hill, Mike Scoggins and Jeff Scoggins. Our 3rd Place Team was the Mann family.

On Saturday, September 12th, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in partnership with the City of San Saba, hosted a Diez y Seis de Septiembre Celebration in Risien Park.

Receipts totaled 595 head and were limited due to the good rains all over the area, and no sale at Mason on Monday due to the Labor Day Holiday. The stocker steers sold steady with 10 steers 440 lbs at $171.00 ($752.40). The stocker heifers were $3-$5 lower.
