Receipts totaled 2,732 head. The better stocker steers sold steady, and the better quality and conditioned stocker heifers were steady to $3 lower. The feeder steers were $5 lower, and heifers were $3-$5 lower. The fleshy and plainer cattle 450-750 lbs sold $5-$10 lower.

For the third consecutive year, San Saba proved that they were a far more superior team over the Goldthwaite Eagles. The last three contests have seen the Dillos outscore the Eagles 203-6, which is an average score of 67-2.
