Did you have fun this weekend? Did you soar through the trees via zip line?. . . create some nice leatherwork as a gift?. . . or when was the last time you shot a BB gun or a bow and arrow. . . rolled in a barrel??? Maybe, you never had the opportunity as a child, or maybe it’s been a long, long time for you. Let me tell you about the fun I had watching Cub Scouts take part in all of these activities and then some at the 2020 Pecan Valley District Cuboree held this past Saturday, October 10th, in Risien Park. The young Cub at left proudly smiled and showed his leatherwork without hesitation for the camera that day. This photo makes me smile and remember the great time I had watching all the Cub Scouts interacting with each other and listening and learning from their leaders on how to perform in each assigned activity.
