August 18, 2025 –Howard Payne University’s campus had a busy weekend kicking off the 2025-2026 academic year. Student-athletes participating in fall sports moved back to campus on Monday and Tuesday, August 11 and 12, followed by incoming students on Friday, August 15.

HPU celebrates unprecedented giving

Howard Payne University celebrated a record year in gifts to the university, with more than $12.39 million received from June 2024 to May 2025. This marks the highest fundraising year in university history. Significant gifts were received for campus improvements, totaling $5.
