Mason - San Saba October 19, 2023 Receipts totaled 3,010 head. Demand was good this week even with the futures market continuing to move lower as the week went along. The stocker steers and heifers were $5-$7 lower after last weeks increases.

Mason - San Saba October 12, 2023 Receipts totaled 2,129 head. The market continued to be active this week with good demand. The stocker steers sold $4-$6 higher with 3 steers 500 lbs at $310.00 ($1550.00). The stocker heifers were $6-$8 higher.

San Saba Golden Armadillo Band earns superior rating

The San Saba Golden Armadillo Band has been busy over the past few weeks. The band competed at the Hill Country Marching Festival in Fredericksburg on September 30th. They finished 3rd at that contest in Class 2A behind Mason and Harper.
