  Richland Springs School looks forward to welcoming our school community back for the first day of classes on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Though the 2022-2023 School Year was fraught with many challenges, RSISD staged with an opportunity for a comeback.

Wildfire burns 250 acres Sunday, July 23rd

The San Saba VFD received a call for a grass fire at 3:30 p.m Sunday near County Road 232 east of Cotton Belt Road. Sheriff's deputies were first on the scene and watched the quickly growing fire jump the county road and move south before fire crews could arrive.

Batchelor and Mann receive honors at July 11th City Council meeting

Eric Batchelor, Police Officer, was selected as the Employee of the Month for June. Alderman Shawn Oliver and Chief John Bauer presented Eric with a plaque with his name on it and a gift certificate to a local restaurant.
