In the spirit of Christmas, the San Saba County Ministerial Alliance is appealing for donations to help fund a free turkey giveaway. This year, San Saba County families who receive food from the Capital Area Food Bank will receive a turkey for Christmas dinner. The number of turkeys will depend on the donations received from the community.
The San Saba County Ministerial Alliance is a fellowship of local Christian ministers and church leaders who meet monthly for Bible study, fellowship, and encouragement. The Alliance also assists financial needs such as utility bills, prescription medicine, emergency food and propane. The Alliance also assists transients that are passing through our county by providing a night’s lodging, food, or gasoline. Each year, the Alliance sponsors the Baccalaureate Service for our graduating seniors.
Those associated with the Alliance are grateful for the generous support of the San Saba community in years past which has helped fund each ministry and benevolent endeavor.
