3rd Central Texas SCV Camp Muster

The Lampasas Salt Works Camp No. 2353 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV) held its 3rd Central Texas SCV Camp Muster on October 17th -18th, 2025, at the C S Farm.

Mason & San Saba October 16, 2025Receipts totaled 2,871 head. The market continued strong with very good demand this week. The stocker steers sold steady to $8 higher on the heavier stocker steers with 3 steers 537 lbs at $440.00 ($2362.80).

River City Band update

The River City Band has recently acquired a new home for rehearsal by a new sponsor and will change time and date beginning the 2nd Tuesday in November.The Commercial National Bank of San Saba has agreed to be a sponsor for the band and has provided free rehearsal space in their community room.
