The Hill Country Cattleman’s Conference will be held Wednesday, November 5th, at Jordan Cattle Auction, 1310 US Highway 190 in San Saba. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 9:00 a.m. Ken Jordan will present a Beef Cattle Industry update. A buyer’s panel will discuss, on live cattle, what buyers are looking for in their purchases. Cattle reproduction including visible tracts will be presented. The New World Screw worn situation will be updated. A drone demonstration for application of herbicides will be most interesting.
Two Continuing Education Units will be offered for those with a Pesticide License, 1 General and I IPM. RSVP by October 29th, cost is $25.00. After October 29th the cost is $35.00. Lunch provided. RSVP is important for planning lunch.
