Many of you probably know that I play the drums. I have been a drummer for almost 25 years. I learned most of what I know through trial and error. I played along with my favorite records and tried to figure out what the drummer was doing.

Walk Across Texas Leaderboard

Walk Across Texas is a team-based program that is designed to get Texans up and moving. Walk Across Texas is an eight-week program. We have officially completed week five of Walk Across Texas! We only have three teams left.

The Richland Springs Report

Isn’t it amazing how much good rain can do to the vegetation? Of course, the weeds like the rain as much as the grass and garden plants do. My corn is about a foot tall, but the weeds are fighting for territory. Looks like next week will be weeding time.

From the San Saba News & Star Archives 70 Years Ago May 7, 1953 Approximately $315 was cleared at the barbeque and band concert given by the Armadillo Band, stated 'Pop' Stanley, band director. The money will be used to help pay for the new instruments the band has received.

Hello from Bend, The last few months have been extremely difficult, but even more so at this current time. I am so very sad to announce the passing of Peter Andrew Henniger of Bend, Texas. Born on October 4, 1960, Pete’s long battle with cancer has come to an end, and Jesus has called him home!
