Richland Springs 3rd and 4th grade six-man football team won the Division Champion on Saturday! They will be playing Superbowl Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in May, Texas, for Championship!

The 2022 San Saba Middle School Annual 5th/6th Costume Parade was a huge success. Our students showed tremendous originality, teamwork, and creativity through their costumes. The students represented SSMS well as they walked through San Saba and paraded through the schools.

Last week our football schedule changed slightly due to a forfeit by Brookesmith varsity. Our junior high teams still played Brookesmith and had a tough loss by just one point. Preston Hanley and Brady Palermo were standouts in the game contributing to the Indians’ 26 points.

The last couple of weeks have been busy with many different events. We observed Fire Safety Week with a safety lesson from the San Saba and Cherokee Volunteer Fire Departments. A huge thank you goes out to those guys. Our kids had fun and learned a lot of valuable information.
