Last week ended district play for the Cherokee Indians. The junior high team was victorious over Lohn with a score of 42-7. The varsity team also beat Lohn with a final score of 70-0 at the half. Joel Valdez completed a touchdown pass to Matt Gass. Gunner Baugh ran in a touchdown.

Rotary November Studentof- the-Month was awarded to Olivia Lusty. Each month, a different senior student is awarded. Awards are based on leadership, character, teacher nominations, and a personal essay written by the student. Recipients are presented to the student body as well as the school board.
