Varsity Player Of The Week:
This week, we recognize 5’8 senior guard/forward Lexy Amthor as the Varsity Player of the Week. She has reached State in cross country and basketball, and regionals in track. Lexy is a four-year Varsity cheerleader and has also participated in band, softball and three years at State cheer.
One San Saba ISD teacher that Lexy would like to thank is Coach Taylor.
During her free time, she likes to sleep and paint. In the future, Lexy would like to become an Ultrasound technician.
JV Player Of The Week:
This week, we recognize sophomore post Mikayla Lusty as JV Player of the Week. She is a Dilloette, in the band and HOSA, and plays softball. Last year, Mikayla won the Ronnie Schultze Award for Varsity softball and performed at State band.
One San Saba ISD teacher that she would like to thank is Coach Haynes.
In her free time, she likes to bake, cook and shop. In the future, Mikayla wants to attend Angelo State University to pursue an RN license, and then become a traveling nurse.
