The San Saba Tennis Team played in the Brownwood Invitational Tennis Tournament on March 3rd. This was the toughest tournament the team has played in this year, playing against 3A, 4A, 5A Teams. We were the only 2A Team in the tournament.

This week was a really exciting week here at Cherokee ISD. Our garden project is going really well. We have had so many community members donate gardening tools, seeds, and other supplies. We had cash donors that made it possible for us to get all of our soil paid for.

Rotary March Student of the Month

Rotary March Student of the Month was awarded to Damaris Patino. Each month a different senior student is awarded. Awards are based on leadership, character, teacher nominations, and a personal essay written by the student. Recipients are presented to the student body as well as the school board.

The San Saba Tennis Team hosted the San Saba Tennis Invitational Tournament on February 23rd and 24th. Teams entered in the JV Tournament were Blanco, Lometa, Florence, Comanche, Llano, Bangs, Richland Springs, Lohn, Junction, Rocksprings, and San Saba.
