Armadillo J.V. Football Report: 46-0 The San Saba J.V. Dillos pitched a shutout on defense while rolling up 46 points on offense to defeat the Bangs Dragons 46-0 last Thursday night at Rogan Field. Bangs kicked to San Saba to begin the game. Graden Lebow ran for 35 yards.

The De Leon Bearcats (6-1, 2-0 in district) overwhelmed the San Saba Armadillos (2-5,1-1 in district) last Friday evening at the Graveyard 42-20. The injury bug is still lingering over the heads of the Armadillos who had several key players out of the game.

District play has begun for football, and our first varsity game was a thriller against Cherokee. Football is an aggressive sport, and it brings out the strong competitor in our young athletes. I can tell you first hand that the athletes from both teams played their hearts out.
