The Lady Coyotes recently ran at the Mason Invitational. This was their last meet before District.In the Varsity Girls Division, Rylie Eckert placed 3rd with a time of 12:32, Raegan Eckert finished with a time of 15:03, and Kinzley Daly ran a 17:15.

Gracen Shahan, Erica Yanez, and Esperanza Baez were selected to display artwork in the Texas Association of School Administrators/Texas Association of School Boards annual conference, the largest convening of Texas public education decision-makers, last weekend in San Antonio.

News From Cherokee ISD

Last week was a great week at Cherokee ISD. It was spirit week, and the cheerleaders made a great plan to boost school spirit through dress up days. The fun outfits led to lots of excitement in the hallways.Our junior high football team pleased the crowd with a win over Sidney with a score of 13-8.

Hamilton defeats San Saba

The pre-district schedule for the Armadillos (3-2) ended on a down note as the #12 team in the state Hamilton Bulldogs (5-0) came out victorious 40-21. The game was much closer than the final score indicated as a touchdown with a minute left finally put the game out of reach for the Dillos.
