Things were hopping at Armadillo Arena on August 4th.A group of high school students from Seek Collaborative came to San Saba on August 4th and were handing out school supplies at the Armadillo Arena from 2-4 p.m.

Another school year has begun here at Cherokee ISD! We have enjoyed our first full week, and are looking forward to many more days to come.This year, we are welcoming several new staff members. Ralene Gideon is teaching high school math. Catherine Whitely is teaching Ag Science.

Recently, several graduates of the Richland Springs class of 1965 met to celebrate their 60th anniversary of graduation. We met at Frank and Cydney Pearce's guest house and then attended the yearly alumni banquet at the Richland Springs high school gym.

The RS ISD School Board held a meeting Monday Night, June 30, 2025, in the library. The meeting was live streamed.The 6 p.m. meeting started with prayer and pledges to the flags led by Board President Gunner Mann.As there were no previous meeting minutes or bills to pay, those items were tabled.
