Our homecoming game was this last week, and we had a great showing. It is always fun to see former students return to the stands. The Indians dominated on the field ending the game at halftime with a final score of 52-0 against Round Rock Christian Academy.The homecoming court is as follows.

SS JV Armadillos fall to Goldthwaite Eagles, 6-27, at Rogan Field

The San Saba Junior Varsity Armadillos fought hard but ultimately came up short Thursday evening at Rogan Field, falling 6-27 to a strong Goldthwaite Eagles JV squad. The loss moves the Armadillos to a 1-2 record for the season.

RS Coyotes victorious Friday, 60-8

The Richland Springs Coyotes moved to 2-1 Friday night with a 60-8 victory over Nueces Canyon.Cohen Ethridge opened up the scoring with a 48-yard touchdown run on the opening drive. Billy Perry, Trendon Vogel, and Eli Hutchins followed with touchdowns on the ground from 3,13, and 1 yard out.

In a rivalry that stretches back over a century, the San Saba Armadillos and Goldthwaite Eagles renewed their fierce “Battle of the River” this past Friday night.

The 3rd grade students at San Saba Elementary really outdid themselves with their first reading project! We have some very creative and talented students to say the least.The project was derived from the novel study of Because of Winn-Dixie.
