In a vibrant celebration of creativity, three talented students from San Saba Independent School District—Sophia Cuevas, Sabrina Dozier, and Jasmin Licea—had their artwork selected for the prestigious Texas Art Education Association ( TAEA) 2025 txEDCON Exhibition. Held in conjunction with the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) and Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) Convention, this event showcased the remarkable artistic talents of Texas students from Pre-K through 12th grade. The exhibition, a highlight of the TASA/TASB Convention, was displayed in the bustling exhibit hall of the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston from September 11-14, 2025. It featured an inspiring collection of artworks from school districts across the state, each piece a testament to the creativity and imagination fostered in Texas classrooms.
