Ten local San Saba Elementary School Students won STATE honors in the Texas Garden Club Youth Contests. See last week's edition for more information. As promised last week, here are some photos. These photos were taken on 'Wacky Wednesday' at SSES and shows them having fun!

Ten local San Saba Elementary School Students won STATE honors in the Texas Garden Club Youth Contests. The first and second place entries go on forward to the South Central Region Garden Club Contest and then if they are winners there, they go on to the National Garden Club Contest!

Congratulations to all the graduates in the area. Kathie Davie attended her grandson, Robert Bench’s graduation last Friday. I taught Robert in fifth grade and received a lovely thank you note from him weeks ago. I attended Piper Shannon’s graduation on Friday in Mullin.
