Texas Beef Team members have been challenged to help out communities statewide by volunteering their time or donating nutritious food to their local food banks. This special initiative, “Texas Beef Team Gives Back,” is going on now through August 31, 2020.

Sheep and Goat Predator Management Board mails ballots for directors election

The Sheep and Goat Predator Management Board will mail ballots this week to elect three producers to represent sheep and goat raisers in its 111-county area. Ballots must be returned to the Board office by the midnight August 5 deadline.

1 package Krusteaz Snickerdoodle cookie mix ½ cup butter 1 egg 1 egg 1 can apple pie filling Preheat oven to 375. Mix together cookie mix, butter, and egg. Spray an 8x8 inch pan with cooking spray and place half of the prepared cookie dough in small spoonful’s across the bottom.

62 Years Ago July 10, 1958 Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mac Perry of Cherokee have announced the birth of a son, William Randall, seven pounds and four ounces, born July 3 at the San Saba Memorial Hospital. This is the couples' first child. Mrs. Perry is the former Shirley Hardy.
