The stocker steers were $4 higher with 7 steers 585 lbs at $150.00 ($877.50), and the stocker heifers were $5 higher with 2 heifers 570 lbs at $132.00 ($752.

Baylor Scott and White Blood Drive in Cherokee July 30th

After an absence of several months, the bloodmobile will be in Cherokee at the Cherokee Church of Christ, on July 30th from 12:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m. The Church of Christ is located on Highway 16. There will be some changes made because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kim Wilson, Accounts Payable Clerk, displays an Employee of the Month plaque with her name engraved for selection as the City's Employee of the Month for July. She also received a gift certificate to a local restaurant. At Kim's right is Charlene Lindsay, Supervisor - City Treasurer, and on her left is Shawn Oliver, Alderman, taking part in the formal presentation.

City Council holds Special Called meeting, July 13th

The San Saba City Council held a Special Called meeting on Monday, July 13th in the City Hall Chambers. Mayor Ken Jordan called the Council to order at 6:00 p.m., announced a quorum and welcomed everyone.
