City Council holds regular meeting, Thursday, February 11th

The San Saba City Council held a regular meeting on Thursday, February 11th, in the City Hall Chambers. Mayor Ken Jordan called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. Alderman Shawn Oliver gave the invocation and led everyone in the pledges to the American flag and the Texas flag.

Receipts totaled 3186 head for the week. The market continued to be active with strong demand. The stocker steers sold $5-7 higher with 13 steers 373 lbs at $200.00 ($746.00) and 3 steers 597 lbs at $155.00 ($925.35). The stocker heifers sold steady.
