Commissioners’ Court holds regular meeting, Monday, January 19th

The San Saba County Commissioners’ Court met for a regular meeting on Monday, January 19th, in the District Courtroom. Judge Byron Theodosis called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. Commissioner Kenley Kroll gave the invocation and led everyone in pledges to the American flag and the Texas flag.

San Saba 2021 Youth Fair Results

This month San Saba held its Annual Youth Fair. The youth in our county were able to show off their talents well and we are happy to announce the winners in the following divisions and categories.

Jordan Cattle Auction

Receipts totaled 1,650 head. The market was active on all classes of calves and yearlings. Stocker steers sold $3-$5 higher with 7 steers 379 lbs at $210.00 ($795.90) and 17 steers 463 lbs at $188.00 ($870.44). Light weight stocker heifers sold $2- $3 higher with balance selling steady.
