80 Years Ago November 29, 1945Mrs. Alva Dalton, who has been managing sales lady of The Fair Store here, has accepted a position in Goldthwaite with the Economy Store. Mrs. Opal Terry will assume the position in The Fair Store vacated by Mrs. Dalton.

The SSISD Cafeteria Ladies prepared an amazing Thanksgiving feast to the San Saba Elementary students, staff, and parents! The delicious meal included turkey, dressing, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, rolls, fruity salad, and pumpkin crumble! It was enjoyed by all!!

The 70th Annual San Saba County Pecan Show will be held December 8th on the ground floor of the Courthouse. Samples will be processed Monday, December 8th, beginning at 1 p.m. in the Extension Office. Tom Guthrie, CEA Mills County, will judge our show Monday afternoon, December 8th, around 3 p.m.
