San Saba County Pecan Field Day

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the San Saba County Pecan Growers Association will host the annual Pecan Field Day on Monday, May 6th, at the San Saba Civic Center, 1190 Thomas Stewart Drive. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the program beginning at 9 a.m. There will be a $50.

Jordan Cattle Auction

Receipts totaled 983 head with no sale on Monday at Mason due to the Easter Holiday. The stocker steers sold fully steady with 4 steers 563 lbs at $ 310.00 ($1745.30). The stocker heifers were steady with 4 heifers 576 lbs $270.00 ($1555.20). The feeder steers and heifers were steady.

San Saba Multi-Service Center events

Veterans Fellowship ProgramVeterans and surviving spouses of Veterans are invited every third Tuesday of the Month to participate at the Veterans Fellowship Program at the San Saba Multi-Service Center (also known as the Senior Center) located at 705 E. Storey Street in San Saba.
