Yes, 5-year-old Ryder Summrs caught this large mouth bass at the Lockett 4L Ranch! The bass was 4 lbs and was caught April 4th. Ryder was fishing with his brother, Everett; his parents, Lauren and Michael Summers; and grandparents, Marsha and David Lockett. Ryder was the fishing champion that day! MOE 5/6 traveled to the Austin Sports Center in Leander, Texas, on April 26, to take part in the 2026 TWE Spring Splash basketball tournament and picked up a second place metal in the 4-team field. Team members are L-R: Stella Smith, Abigail Davila, Evelyn Macedo, Albany Dudley, Kennedy Lopez, and Hadleigh Soto.

MOE 5/6 traveled to the Austin Sports Center in Leander, Texas, on April 26, to take part in the 2026 TWE Spring Splash basketball tournament and picked up a second place metal in the 4-team field. Praise the Lord, we didn’t get the big storms that flooded or destroyed areas, but we still need more rain. I had to drag out my coat again because that wind, damp, and lower temperatures were too nasty to go outside in short sleeves. Another month or two and we’ll be wishing for a little relief.
