Rotary club's helpers and their flag project

Hadley and Abby Fuller were helping Rotarian Jacqueline Carlson hang the American flags on May 22nd, in honor of the upcoming Memorial Day.

The Rotary Flag Project is an important fundraiser for the Rotary Club, which has a long history of supporting many worthwhile civic activities and events, including: county-wide scholarships, local highway clean up, hosted golf tournaments, and recognizing students of the month.

They hang the American flag on major holidays and special occasions, and they hang the Armadillo flag on football Fridays.

Members of the San Saba Rotary Club offer flag services to business and individuals who are along the main routes of Highway 190 and Highway 16 for an annual fee of $100.

If you would like to show your patriotism, your Armadillo spirit, and most importantly support the San Saba Rotary Club, contact Kevin Shahan at 325-372-4613 to participate in the Rotary Flag Project.
