Texas A&M AgriLife Extension in Mills, Lampasas and San Saba Counties are offering a Pesticide Applicator Training on June 2, 2026, at the MCBank Community Room, 1103 Parker Street in Goldthwaite. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. Training to begin at 8:30 and will conclude around 12:00 P.M.

Old-Time Camp Meeting set for June 4-7 at Bend UMC

The 168th consecutive camp meeting, hosted annually by the members of Bend United Methodist Church, has been set for June 4-7. Services are to be held at the historic Methodist Campground on Cherokee Creek, near Chappel Community.
