Mason - San Saba November 7, 2024Receipts totaled 2,839 for the week. Due to much needed rain in the Texas panhandle and Oklahoma, the market had a strong up trend. Packer cows and bulls remained steady while stocker steers were $10-$18 higher and stocker heifers were $10-$15 higher.

The Little Sunflower

My wife had a small concrete area in our back yard where she fed the birds, and sometimes that included sunflower seeds. I guess one of those seeds got blown off the concrete pad and fell into a crack in the dirt and sprouted.Anyway, we had one sunflower plant that was about two feet tall.
