At the end of last week our GT group, under the guidance of Shannon Padgett, collected old wreaths from the Cherokee Cemetery and disposed of them as a community service project.

Richland Springs 6th graders visit San Saba museum

San Saba volunteers make it possible for each school in the district to go and visit the San Saba Museum every year. This year, the Richland Springs 6th graders had the opportunity to enhance their learning experience by visiting the museum in December.

It’s another cold week here in the hill country as Cherokee ISD rolls through the 3rd week of the second semester. In basketball news, the junior high girls’ basketball team won the Consolation Championship at the Zephyr Tournament over the weekend.
