With another cold blast came another late start last week. We are looking forward to a week of slightly warmer weather so that we can have a full week without any schedule disruptions! We always appreciate the flexibility of our students, staff, and parents when we have instances like that.
Our varsity basketball teams took on Brookesmith last week. They boys secured a win with a score of 49-29, while the girls did not fare as well. We look forward to this week as they play Zephyr and Richland Springs. Good luck, Indians!
Next week, there is a mandatory meeting for parents and any student who wishes to try out for cheerleader. Students in grades 5-11 are eligible to try out. This meeting will be on February 5th, and the tryouts will be March 6th.
The floral design class is hosting a Valentine’s Day fundraiser. Order forms went home this week and all orders are due by February 6th. They have carnations, cups with candy, and pencils for sale. These items will be delivered at school on February 13th.
