San Saba ISD election last week had items of great interest for many. There were two spots open on the school board and a bond election with two propositions.

SSES Kinder visits Millican Pecan Co.

San Saba Elementary School kindergartners had the pleasure of taking a field trip to Millican Pecan Company.Students were kindly greeted by Kristen Millican and her wonderful crew. From the lobby, students were escorted to piemaking stations where Kristin modeled the process for the students.

Raegan Eckert placed 2nd at the district tennis match and will be going to regional in Bryan on May 6-7th. Good luck, Raegan!
Last week Chassidy Gonzales punched her ticket to the state track meet. Chass was the Region 4 Champion and has one of the fastest times in the 400 this year. She will be competing in Austin on May 2nd.

San Saba High School is proud to announce its annual Art Show, which will take place on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 4:15 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the high school's hallways.
Mrs. Cooper’s PK4 class celebrated Easter 2025 with the Easter Bunny and egg hunt followed by a picnic-style snacks last Thursday, April 17th. Just like the rest of the state, we are deep into testing season. However, by the time you are reading this, we should be DONE for the year with state testing.Things are still rolling around here despite the completion of these exams.
