Richland Springs' Lady Coyotes basketball team won their game against Brookesmith, 77-18. High scorers of the game were: #2 - Ryleigh Bryant with 19 points; #4 Raegan Wright with 18 points; and #22 Brynlii Chandler with 14 points. Lady Coyotes are now undefeated in District 17.

The San Saba High School girls and boys varsity basketball teams both picked up wins this past week in District 29-2A play.
Reagan Mejia (SR) Mejia was an all-around athlete for the Armadillos during the 2021 football season. The senior averaged 40.6 yards per punt and was 22 out of 27 (81%) on extra points. Regan also hit 4 out of 7 field goals (57%) with the longest coming from 39 yards out.

Last week, the San Angelo Standard-Times released their annual list of players selected for the All-West Texas Football Team. Two players from San Saba High School were named on this list.
