Pfluger leads Republicans in blocking the D.C. City Council from allowing noncitizens to vote
Congressman August Pfluger (TX-11) delivered a speech on the House Floor in support of legislation to overturn the D.C. Council’s disastrous legislation allowing illegal immigrants to vote, which passed the House by a vote of 260-162. Last year, Representative Pfluger was the first Member of Congress to introduce legislation to block the provision allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections.
