Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor:

I am writing this letter to you in order to say thank you for printing my articles almost every week for 10 months. Donna, you are a wonderful editor! You have taken a small, mediocre weekly paper and made it into something to be very proud of! San Saba is very, very lucky! Again I say, thank you!

In addition, I am writing to respond to friends who have worried when they have recently missed my Musings articles. While I continue to grieve that our country has become so divided, primarily at the behest of our former President (polls show that his support has fallen to less than 25% of the population with only

16% of the group still in favor of violence), these numbers are still scary, but improving. While I also grieve for the anti-vaxxers who are making conscious decisions to choose death by Covid, I have determined to stop writing the articles for a number of reasons. One, I love to write and I intend to continue to write with the possibility of a book in the future (crossed fingers for luck). And, two, I am finally following the requests of my beautiful daughters who have worried all this time about my safety in Trumplandia.

All this being said, I again thank Donna, and say with love to all San Sabans, peace be unto you!

Anne Vincent
