The Richland Springs Lady Coyotes volleyball team has officially wrapped up district play, earning the title of District 15 Runner-Ups and securing a spot in the first round of the playoffs.
The Lady Coyotes finished their district schedule on a high note with an impressive threeset sweep of the Brookesmith Lady Mustangs. The victory provided a strong finish to district competition and gave the team momentum heading into postseason play.
Throughout the season, the Lady Coyotes have demonstrated determination, resilience, and teamwork. Despite facing challenges along the way, the girls have continued to improve and compete, earning their place among the top teams in the district. Their runner-up finish is a testament to the hard work and dedication they have shown both on and off the court.
With district competition now behind them, the Lady Coyotes will turn their attention to the Bi-District round of the playoffs, where they will face the Evant Lady Elks on Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 p.m. at Lometa High School.
The Lady Coyotes will look to carry their momentum into the postseason as they compete for an opportunity to advance to the next round. The team encourages the Richland Springs community to make the trip to Lometa, fill the stands, and show their support as the girls continue their playoff journey. Photos by Pam Starr
