Our Cherokee Home for Children family is celebrating a special milestone for Gunner Baugh, who recently earned an Associate of Applied Science in Electrical Power and Controls Technology from Texas State Technical College.
Gunner grew up at Cherokee Home, making his accomplishment especially meaningful to the many people who have watched him grow. His parents, Robert and Vickie Baugh, are proud of his achievement. Robert has served as Cherokee Home’s Spiritual Life Director for 18 years, helping guide and encourage children at the home.
Gunner has already begun his career with Clark Roofing, where he works as anACM/CAD draftsman, machine operator and salesman.
From growing up at Cherokee Home to earning his college degree and beginning his career, Gunner is stepping into an exciting new chapter. We are so proud of him and look forward to seeing what the future holds.
