Mason - San Saba June 13, 2024Receipts totaled 3,247 head. A choice offering of cattle were on hand with very good buyer demand. The stocker steers sold $4-$5 higher with 6 steers 518 lbs at $326.00 ($1688.68) and 3 steers 577 lbs at $302.00 ($1742.54). The stocker heifers were steady to $2 higher.

It is time for male tarantulas to start looking for love, sometimes in all the wrong places, the San Antonio Express-News reported. The state is home to 14 species of the creature, the most common of which is the Texas brown tarantula.

I love it when things happen in Richland Springs. The new Saturday Market is a perfect example. Each Saturday a few more local growers and craftspeople bring their goods to the Tabernacle.
