80 Years Ago July 25, 1940 Mr. and Mrs. S. T. Taylor have as guest their daughter, Mrs. A. B. Gates of Houston. Senator John Hornsby and grandson of Austin were here Thursday in the interest of the formers campaign for the senate.

Ellis Family Ranch wins conservation award from San Saba Soil and Water Conservation District #250

The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board recently held its annual contest of conservation awards. Area 2 contains 50 districts that range from the western border of Texas down south and over to Interstate Highway 35.
