A Light for My Path

One of the fun excursions our family enjoys on beach trips is to chase and catch crabs at night. Most of the family has learned to bring their own flashlight. Those without light quickly discover that agitated crabs will scurry across their feet in their efforts to escape.

The other day I had the opportunity to visit NASA and look at the history of the space program. It was very informative, and some of the rockets that were used were on display (or replicas of them). There were some parts that were not open to the public that had been once before, I was told.

City Council holds regular meeting Tuesday, May 11th

The San Saba City Council held a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 11th, in the City Hall Chambers. Mayor Ken Jordan called the Council to order at 6:00 p.m. and welcomed everyone. Alderman Marcus Amthor gave the invocation and led everyone in the pledges to the American flag and the Texas flag.

Superintendent Don Fowler will hang up his hat and retire from Richland Springs ISD at the end of the 2020-2021 school year. Mr. Fowler has served the district for the past 19 years as a teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent of finance, principal-superintendent, and superintendent.
