Multi-County Range/Brush Program set for July 13th

Tuesday, July 13th is the date of a Multi-County Range/Brush program. This program is being conducted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. It will be held at the Brown County Fairgrounds located at 4206 US HWY 377 South in Brownwood.

In the 25 years between 1982 and 2007, the U.S. lost 23.1 million acres of agricultural land to “development” (houses, roads, parking lots, shopping centers, etc.). That’s about the size of Indiana! Texas lost the most of any other state, by a large margin—2.9 million acres!

Whoops A Bexar County game warden was patrolling the southside of San Antonio when they saw vehicle tire tracks entering a water treatment facility. The warden entered the property to search for trespassers when he saw a man on a kayak along the banks of the private lake.

Ricci, daughter of Robert and Barbara Grimes, competed in barrels, poles, goat tying, straight away barrels, and break away and ribbon roping. Brandon, son of Waylon and Connie Moore, competed in team roping, break away and ribbon tie down, and steer dogging.
