Bridge Maintenance Project to begin on IH 20

Beginning January 17, TxDOT’s contractor, Scott Tucker Company, LLC of Fort Worth will perform maintenance work on several bridges throughout the Brownwood District. The project is expected to be completed in approximately 14 months, weather permitting.

Texas History Day: Call for judges!

Volunteer to foster the next generation of Texas historians on April 23 Texas History Day Regional Competitions are right around the corner! We have 19 regionals that take place in February and March 2022 across Texas, and, as of now, they are slated to be in-person.

Wiley B. Murray Post to meet Thursday

Game Warden Field Notes

Mother Knows Best Over the Memorial Day weekend, game wardens conducting water safety patrols were sent videos of a man jumping off a red and white boat, harassing and capturing a Canada Goose. Despite efforts to locate the boat and the individuals involved, wardens were unable to track them down.
