2022 San Saba Pecan Show

The 67th Annual San Saba County Pecan Show will be held December 5th & 6th on the ground floor of the Courthouse. Samples will be processed Monday December 5th beginning at 1 p.m. in the Extension Office.

The Richland Preservation Society

A short meeting was held on the 17th of November to make sure everyone was on the same page regarding upcoming events. There were 10 attendees. Paige Moats represented the Beautification Committee. Her group has been decorating the town with lights and festive garlands.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Help support families in need of assistance in providing their children with Christmas gifts by donating new, unwrapped toys from infant to age 17 and gift cards (in $10, $15, or $25 amounts) to local businesses in San Saba, Richland Springs, and Cherokee by December 10th!

Texas Farm Bureau 89th Annual Meeting

Farmers and ranchers across the Lone Star State will meet in Waco in December as part of the 89th annual meeting of the Texas Farm Bureau (TFB), the state’s largest general farm and ranch organization.

HCCW cook hamburgers for Hill Country Youth Ranch

The Hill Country Cattle Women held a delicious hamburger lunch for the students at the Hill Country Youth Ranch, a non-profit organization that provides a safe, loving and lifeenhancing Christian environment for children and young adults who have suffered severe trauma from abuse or neglect.
